The spiritual environment you feel there during a Shabbos meal—the singing and the vibrations—literally shakes the building.
Hi, my name is Asher. I'm originally from Switzerland, and I met the Rebbetzin once at a shiur in Tzfat. She just invited me for Shabbos without even knowing me, and I came.
I must say, it was one amazing experience, and I just kept coming and coming, invited or not invited. It was a very, very homey feeling. They were basically my "Tzfat parents," as I would literally call them. I would go there during the week; it didn't matter when. The Rabbi and Rebbetzin were always there for me. I can tell you about the endless number of times I've seen them hosting tables with between 15 and 30 people, not asking anything from anyone. They also host, I don't know, somewhere between 10 and 15 people who also sleep at the house.
The spiritual environment you feel there during a Shabbos meal—the singing and the vibrations—literally shakes the building. I remember this so clearly. Multiple times, I was there, and the Bachurim, just the singing, was like out of this world.
I've also seen the Rabbi, like 5 minutes before Shabbos, getting calls and SMS messages: "Can I come for Shabbos? I just got to Tzfat, and I've nowhere to go." They never turned down anyone. Whether there's room or there's no room, they still invite all the people.
I'm just speechless for every single experience and time that I got to be with them.

They have an open home, and it is a constant flow of chesed.
They listen to people for hours when they have something to say, even if it’s not important. But it is important because it comes from that person’s neshama, and they’re here for that.

I remember the huge table, with people from all over the world: we felt we were all one big family.
My wife and I met all these incredible people, and we were just blown away by the experience.
