When you go to the meal, everyone there is treated as an individual. Everyone introduces themselves and makes you really feel at home. It’s a meal that I’ve definitely been back to over five times. They’re really holding Safed together.

Hey, this is Bentzion Rothstein from Monsey. I'm in Rabbi Fisher’s Yeshiva. I got invited to the Vogels. I didn’t really know exactly, you know, what I was getting myself into, or where this was gonna go. A random host. I was like, "Oh, you know, let's hit it up." I sent him a text, and he replies to me, "We're a little bit full this week, but you can definitely come for the meals." And immediately after that, he sent me about five contacts of people where I could stay.
He went the extra mile, and I was like, "You know, expect tonight... maybe there’s like one or two people there." I show up, and there’s about 20 people there! And I know that I wasn’t the only one, after I realized that I wasn’t the only one that got this treatment.

They have an open home, and it is a constant flow of chesed.
They listen to people for hours when they have something to say, even if it’s not important. But it is important because it comes from that person’s neshama, and they’re here for that.

The spiritual environment you feel there: literally shakes the building.

I remember the huge table, with people from all over the world: we felt we were all one big family.
My wife and I met all these incredible people, and we were just blown away by the experience.
