The Vogels are really doing something so special, so important, and so necessary.
I just got back from Israel and spent some very special time with the Vogels and the Yidei Eim program in Safed, also known as Tzfat. It's one of my favorite places to visit, and I want to share a little bit about this amazing thing that they're running.
The Vogels have the most remarkable people visiting them, spending Shabbos with them, taking care of them, feeding them, and loving them. The only thing that's bigger than the amount of people that are there in their home is their hearts. The Vogels are really doing something so special, so important, and so necessary.
So many of our young people are spending time in Israel, but they need a little bit of Tzfat, they need some spirituality, they need something extra, they need something special, and the Vogels are providing it. For years, people have been trying to go to Tzfat, and unless you had a lot of money or a unique connection, it was hard to visit. Today, secular, religious, people in Yeshiva and seminary, soldiers, friends of Israel, people just visiting are looking for something more and they're able to be accommodated by this very special family and this very special program. I highly, highly support it and I recommend that you do as well.
They're doing amazing things.
Please support them, please give them some love, and we should see you soon in Tzfat.
Looking forward, Am Yisrael Chai.

They have an open home, and it is a constant flow of chesed.
They listen to people for hours when they have something to say, even if it’s not important. But it is important because it comes from that person’s neshama, and they’re here for that.

The spiritual environment you feel there: literally shakes the building.
The spiritual environment you feel there during a Shabbos meal—the singing and the vibrations—literally shakes the building.

I remember the huge table, with people from all over the world: we felt we were all one big family.
My wife and I met all these incredible people, and we were just blown away by the experience.

Yidei Eim emerged organically in the heart of Safed seeking to provide for a growing community of neshamos that needed a place to call home.
Our purpose is to work steadily to build and expand a center of opportunity for personal, relational & spiritual development in Safed, which crosses multinational borders and mends generational gaps.
